We’ve all been cooped up inside for too long to sit in a dark conference venue for 8 hours. A research poll by Future Workplace found that access to natural light and views of the outdoors are the number one attribute of the workplace environment. It’s the same for delegates at a conference or event!
Here are some of our favourite venues with Natural Light:
The Sanctuary at Adelaide Zoo, SA
The contemporary Attenborough Room offers plenty of natural light and a view overlooking the Adelaide Zoo. For many years, one of the main attractions of the room was overlooking Brutus, Adelaide Zoo’s much-loved Hippopotamus who called Adelaide Zoo home for 45 years but sadly earlier this year he passed away.
The room is flexible and can host an event for a variety of floor plans including classroom, cabaret and banquet although it is limited in his capacity so best suited to smaller events.
Royal Benowa Foyer, RACV Royal Pines, QLD
With soaring nine-metre ceilings and overlooking the beautiful manicured Podium Lawns and championship golf course, the Royal Benowa Foyer is perfect for trade exhibitions, pre-dinner functions or refreshment breaks from the Ballroom. Unfortunately the Benowa Ballroom itself doesn’t house any natural light but this venue certainly offers it in droves once you break for lunch.
Metropolis Events, Southbank, VIC
This unique corporate events venue exudes luxury, style and sophistication from the moment your guests enter the space. Fitted with Mark Douglass Design pendant lights, two brass bars, marble features, premium mirror finishes, and complemented by contemporary furnishings and occasional pieces, this chic and stylish space is sure to take your event to the next level. Featuring a 17-metre internal dome ceiling and 9 metre high windows which boast ample natural light and the city’s most impressive views, your guests will be in absolute awe of the space.
Bellevue Ballroom, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, WA
Perth’s largest purpose-built venue for balls, gala dinners and cocktail function events.
A spacious foyer features floor-to-ceiling glass windows and an open-air balcony that provides a dramatic backdrop, with views of the Perth City and Swan River. In complemented by one of Australia’s largest permanently installed intelligent lighting systems. The Ballrooms contain operable walls that allow you to configure the space to suit your individual event requirements.
Hyatt Regency Darling Harbour, NSW
The Grand Ballroom offers stunning panoramic views of Darling Harbour, which can be viewed through our floor to ceiling windows. With 850 square meters of space, the Grand Ballroom is the ultimate waterfront venue.
Now there’s no excuse for a stuffy venue at your next conference!
